Ivory Coast offers a very interesting environment to conduct clinical studies. Through local teams of CPL and CRA, MCT can support sponsors with various CRO services like Regulatory and monitoring to be successful in their projects in West Africa.

MCT continues its development in Sub Saharan Africa with opening of an affiliate in Ivory Coast in Abidjan
26 MCT team members coming from Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Senegal and France did attend MCT Annual Meeting on May 18th and 19th in Cairo. These 2 days were a perfect opportunity to have everybody on the same place for training and workshop on MCT Process/ new tools used on Study Management.
MCT open an office in Dakar to better cover as regional CRO Sub Saharan Africa.

Clinical Research Seminar with Pharmacy Students from College of Pharmacy, University of Sharjah
Berta Villegas, Nada Khater and Basma Kosa from MCT UAE were organizing a seminar about Clinical Research on Thursday November 26th 2015 in front of more than 90 pharmacy students from University of Sharjah College of Pharmacy. They had the opportunity to introduce Clinical research and present Career opportunities in Clinical Research to pharmacy students. This was an occasion to develop awareness of growing clinical research activities in MENA region and potentially to attract future Clinical Research Professionals.
Marwan Felaefel (Clinical Project Lead at MCT in Egypt) abstract has been accepted for a poster session at PRIM&R – Advancing Ethical Research (AER) conference in Boston. Marwan was invited to be a panelist and deliver a presentation under the Innovations in Global Research panel to cover his topic “Attitudes Towards and Prevalence of Research Misconduct Among Investigators in Egypt”.
